Rachael helped us tremendously with our 7 month old who previously refused daytime naps, (unless walked in the pram) and also woke frequently at night. He now sleeps 11h at night, takes regular naps in his bed and is even able to settle himself to sleep almost independently.
I recently took part in the group sleep coaching event which turned out to be a wonderful experience for my family. Rachael was gentle in her approach and always had suggestions or alternative techniques. My son was extremely reliant on swaddling to get to sleep and struggled to sleep for longer than 40 minutes during the day.
Before Rachael, we were spending almost two hours trying to put our 6 month baby to sleep, with lots of crying from him and great effort from us. We also woke up several times during the night and it was also difficult to get him to sleep again.
We turned to Rachael because our nights had become a daily source of stress, anxiety and desperation. We suffered from torturous bedtimes, broken nights and early mornings.
Over the course of the next few weeks, Rachael could not have been more supportive, motivational and informative. We contacted Rachael as our 16 month old was not a great sleeper. She helped us with a new routine and methods to improve the situation. Within 2 weeks he is now sleeping 11 hours straight every night. Rachael was in touch everyday checking up on us and seeing how the previous night had went and helped us through tough moments. Cannot recommend Rachael enough.
Rachael is fantastic and has truly transformed not only my son's sleep but mine too. Before working with Rachael, I was feeding my 20-month-old to sleep. I was letting him sleep when he liked during the day, and he was still waking to be fed 2 or 3 times a night. When we started working with Rachael, I was co-sleeping with him as this was the only way to get any decent sleep. Needless to say, this was not sustainable long term.
Our daughter was a pretty good little sleeper until she hit 10 months old, Then the fun began! We were up with her for at least 2 hours every night taking it in turns to get her back to sleep (without success).
We eventually turned to Rachael. We’d sought Rachael’s advice when our daughter was 9 weeks old and she was really helpful then so we really should have known better than to leave it so long before we called on her again. Rachael took the time to understand Arabella’s sleep routine as well as her personality (and ours) and suggested what seemed to be a few small tweaks together with a sleep training program that we were comfortable with. The small tweaks made a huge difference and the sleep training has been a godsend. Arabella slept all night for the first time in months after our first full consultation with Rachael. Rachael’s advice has been invaluable. Even nursery has seen a change in our daughter, (and we have stopped looking like something out of the Walking Dead). If you’re hesitating about asking Rachael for help, don’t! She’s great! We contacted Rachael to get some help as we were going mad not being able to put our toddler to sleep in a quick and easy way and we were totally desperate to get it changed.
Rachel helped us during 3 weeks and we started to see changes instantly. We have still a bit of a way to go before it gets 'perfect' but we have received a lot of information and guidance in how to achieve it and now there are no battles at bedtime, every time our toddler falls asleep quicker and we are able to alternate between myself and my partner. We had the pleasure to have Rachael’s support for 3 weeks to help with our little one’s sleep. We came from a long long way, we were really desperate and exhausted!
After 3 days we already had seen major changes, it was already a game changer for us. We have learned so much more by her side than we have learned from the pediatrician for the past 7 months. Our baby is now sleeping peacefully at night and during the day, he has the correct diet in place and that is gold to us! So if you are hesitating to reach out to her, please don’t, just go for it! By far the best investment we have made this year! This was our 4th baby and I'd managed sleep with the others by myself however this time we had a co sleeping 11 month old who could only get to sleep by feeding or in the pram or car. She was being fed on demand over night, all night it sometimes felt like. She had never slept in her own cot and to be honest, our attempts to get her into her cot had not gone well.
I contacted Rachael after a recommendation from a friend however I honestly couldn't really see how she was going to help. Rachael was patient and kind when speaking about our sleep situation and her constant phone and text support meant to it was easy to stick to her plan. Night one our baby slept the whole night in her cot for the first time ever, woke twice and settled quickly by me following Rachaels advice. Night 3 she slept through the night! It took most of the first 2 weeks to get her into a good pattern of self soothing, without crying and now another 2 weeks on, she sleeps through, sometimes just waking once but always settles quickly. She also now has 2 regular and solid day sleeps which wasn't happening before. I believe you need to be ready in yourself to do sleep training, as it is an effort and you have to be disciplined, and I wasn't before this point but if you are at the point that you are thinking about it, I would definitely recommend that you contact Rachael. She really can help! |
